Monday 3rd Dec is another day of prayer & fasting for Awali Church. In the next six weeks we face the possibility of significant changes in our facility. As we prepare for the immediate future, we also want to be asking the Lord for guidance in the longer term. Of the different options available now, which one will best prepare us for what the Lord has in store for us 5 years from now?

Thanks for email informing me of fasting today. I have been praying and will throughout the day that God's will is done for future worship, prayer and friday school venue.
God bless
Love
Elaine
We have been attending Awali Church since February this year and have found the worship a blessing and Graeme's preaching enlightening and challenging. I (Rachel) firmly beleive that part of my last prophecy was a clear word from God that He will use Awali Church to be a catalyst for revival and an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Bahrain. We are praying that God will give clear guidance to Grame, the elders and the congregation as to the way ahead to enable us to fulfil His will for us. In my prayers and thoughts on Awali Church and the challenge we are facing I felt lead to the following scripture and hence forth explaining what I felt God was saying through this to me. Prov 24:3,4 "Through wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established, by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches."
The 3 words that stood out to me was 1. wisdom, 2. understanding, 3. knowledge.
Wisdom we are told in Ps110:10 begins with the fear of the Lord, asking for this please God 1King 3:6-9 also in Job 28:28 And to man He said, "Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom. and to depart from evil is understanding. Also see Ps 112. To Fear the Lord is to revere, respect and to trust him in complete humility and awe. Understanding is about God, not us or our circumstances, like a blind trust, yet we know and understand who we trust in, who He is, what He is capable of and what He has done, is doing and will do.
John 8:43 Jesus siad, "why do you not understand my speech? Because you are not able to listen to my word."
Knowledge is knowing God, knowing his promises for our lives and our future, Prov 10:22-25.
I feel God is more interrested in our attitude and willingness to surrender to Him as a body, to his will and desire for us. He has the solution we have to trust him and get all our facts straight but more importantly our attitude towards him and the meeting place.
I also would like to share a paragraph from a book by the "newsboys" that I'm reading.
People think that they need to know God's entire plan for their lives. But we forget the second half of the verse we just read, The verse reads, "Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepth the law, happy is he." This scripture indicates that the vision being talked about is a revelation of God's law as a guide for our lives. It is talking about understanding and applying the ways of God more than having an idea of God's plans for our entire furures.
